I grew up in Orange Walk, the little Belizean town famous for its tacos, asking myself one question: how do I make a living doing something I actually love?
The answer was a camera. The name came from a movie. After watching Rio in 2011 I started greeting everyone with “hey bird, what up bird”, and it stuck. Before long the whole town was calling me Bird. It felt right for a filmmaker who's always looking for a new angle, so Thebirdfilming was born.
Today I film weddings, brands and adventures across Belize and abroad, from Shark Ray Alley and Lighthouse Reef to the streets of Cartagena, Mexico and California.
